Minister for Environment the Hon. Robyn Parker announced funding in the sum of $90,000 under the State Floodplain Management Program and the Floodplain Risk Management Grants Scheme for Council to review the existing Gwydir flood study. This financial injection is very welcome and will allow Council to undertake the review early 2012.
